147 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Defence the steps, if any, he is taking to quickly sell a house (details supplied) in Dublin 7 before it is vandalised; and if it will be sold to a member of the Defence Forces. [11585/97]

Minister for Defence (Mr. Barrett)

It is proposed to dispose of the house in question in the immediate future. In line with normal practice the property will first be offered for sale to serving members of the Permanent Defence Force.
