132 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the 200 extra teaching hours requested by the vocational education committee for the continuation of the St. Maelruan's boys' project which caters for 12 to 15 year old itinerant boys who have left mainstream education; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has approved the allocation by County Dublin Vocational Education Committee of additional teaching hours for the continuation of the project referred to by the Deputy in the 1996-97 session. The details regarding the approval have been forwarded to the vocational education committee. The allocation of teaching hours to the project will be reviewed for the 1997-98 session.
