Vol. 478 No. 6

Written Answers. - Vehicle Registration Tax.

Hugh Byrne

Question:

44 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Finance if he will make vehicle registration tax in respect of a passenger available to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford. [11912/97]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the Deputy's question does not contain sufficient information to determine the exact nature of his inquiry. In the event that it relates to a repayment in respect of a car for use by a disabled person as a passenger, I am informed that the Revenue Commissioners have no record of any correspondence with the person in this regard. If the Deputy will supply further details to my office or directly to the Revenue Commissioners the matter will be dealt with as speedily as possible.
