66 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health if he will arrange for a person (details supplied) in County Cork to be transferred to a long-term care bed in a hospital in County Cork. [11772/97]

Limerick East): The provision of long-stay care for the elderly in County Cork is a matter for the Southern Health Board.

I have accordingly asked the Southern Health Board to investigate this matter and respond directly to the Deputy.
