Written Answers. - Long-Stay Hospital Care.

Mary O'Rourke

Question:

83 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will request the relevant health board to review the case of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who needs particular care following a health setback. [11906/97]

Limerick East): The provision of long-stay care for the elderly in County Westmeath is a matter for the Midland Health Board.

I have, accordingly, asked the Midland Health Board to investigate this matter and respond directly to the Deputy.
