151 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education whether any of the 72 schools in County Donegal currently without remedial assistance will have access to this service in the 1997-98 academic year; if so, the schools which will receive this assistance; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 138, 151, 174, 177 and 181 together.

I am currently considering the possibility of making additional remedial and resource teacher posts available to primary schools for the forthcoming school year.

I can assure the Deputies that the needs of the schools to which they refer will be taken into account as part of this process.
