237 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason the requests set out in a letter to him from Deputy Connor of 7 April 1997, referring to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon, have not been replied to or complied with. [12166/97]
It has not been possible to comply with the request set out in your letter of 7 April 1997 concerning the person named by you because of the demands on the area aid unit of my Department linked to the 1997 Area Aid application period. I have now arranged, however, for (a) the issue of a full set of maps to the person concerned outlining the details of his holding as recorded on my Department's data base and (b) the return to him, as soon as they can be obtained from the digitising contractor, of photocopies of the maps that he sent to my Department.
