Question:

57 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Health the reason the expenses of a person (details supplied) in County Cork, who is a victim of hepatitis C, are not being paid by the Blood Transfusion Service Board. [11981/97]

Limerick East): The Blood Transfusion Service Board has informed me that it has paid the claims which were submitted by the person concerned for allowable expenses under the ex-gratia expenses scheme.
