46 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Education if she will have arrangements made for the building of a second level community college in Caherciveen, County Kerry, to be put out to tender in 1997; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12322/97]
At present the planning and building unit of my Department is finalising its examination of the stage four-five submission (detail design-bill of quantities) and County Kerry vocational education committee have been authorised to initiate the pre-selection of contractors for the project.
Further progress to the construction stage will depend on the availability of capital resources and the Department's other commitments and priorities.
