48 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education the cost involved in repairing a school (details supplied) in County Donegal; and the current position in relation to this school in view of the various reports which have stated that the school is in very poor conditions. [12320/97]
A detailed current cost estimate for refurbishing the school to which the Deputy refers is not available. An outline costing prepared three years ago indicated that refurbishment would cost in the region of £50,000. The question of how the school's accommodation needs can be addressed is currently under consideration and my Department will be in touch with the school authorities in the matter.
