104 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the persons appointed by him to boards under the aegis of his Department since January 1995; and the number of vacancies currently remaining to be filled or due to fall vacant in the near future. [12692/97]
I have nothing to add to my replies to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 102, (Vol. 475, No. 8, Col. 1787-8) and 171, (Vol. 476, No. 7, Col. 1639) of 5 March, and 25 March, 1997, respectively, other than to state that there are no board vacancies currently remaining to be filled or due to be filled, in the near future, in the bodies under the aegis of my Department.
The end date for the current term of office of the board of the Employment Equality Agency is 9 November 1997. The term of office of the current board of the Legal Aid Board is five years from the date of appointment on 11 October, 1996.
