Question:

215 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in finalising technical details associated with the proposed extension to a school (details supplied) in County Cork; and if she will give immediate approval to go to tender in this regard. [12739/97]

Funding has been allocated to enable the extension to the school in question to proceed to construction this year.

The Department will shortly be in contact with County Cork vocational education committee regarding the project.
