246 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice if she will expedite the issue of a copy instrument from the Land Registry Office to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the delay is causing financial hardship. [12549/97]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this refers to an application for registration as sole owner. Queries were issued to the lodging solicitors on 18 March 1997 and replies are awaited. The matter cannot proceed until the queries raised are satisfactorily discharged.
I am further informed that there is no record of any application for a copy instrument pending on the folio. If the Deputy can let me have the date of application for the copy instrument or specify which instrument is referred to, I will have further inquiries made in the matter.
247 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made to finalise a dealing for persons (details supplied) in County Waterford which has been with the Land Registry for some time. [12616/97]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing was completed on 29 January 1997. The new folio number is 16826F County Waterford.
