395 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Defence the persons appointed by him to boards under the aegis of his Department since January 1995; and the number of vacancies currently remaining to be filled or due to fall vacant in the near future. [12687/97]

Minister for Defence (Mr. Barrett)

I have made two appointments to State boards which come under the aegis of the Department as follows:- Mr. Patrick Hogan, Director, Coiste an Asgard; Mr. Martin E. Marren, Chairman, Army Pensions Board.

There are no vacancies currently remaining to be filled.
