Question:142 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Marine when the licence of a sea fishing boat will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Louth who made an application in December 1996. [12975/97]
Written Answers. - Fishing Vessel Licences.
The individual referred to applied in December 1996 for a licence in respect of a particular vessel which he intended to purchase at that time. However, the vessel in question was subsequently purchased by another fisherman. Should the individual wish to apply for a licence in respect of another vessel, the application will be considered in accordance with current licensing policy.
