Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
As I indicated in reply to Question No. 55 of 25 February 1997, proposals to appoint consultants to prepare a feasibility report indicating the areas of highest priority have been submitted to my Department. The council's proposals are being considered in the context of the proposed preparation of five year strategic plans for rural water supplies. My Department will be writing to local authorities about this matter in the near future.
