Question:

48 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to make payment of a REP scheme grant to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly. [14157/97]

The applicant concerned applied for his third year payment under the REP scheme. However, he was selected for a compliance inspection which was recently carried out. During the course of the inspection a number of deficiencies were identified on the applicant's agri-environmental plan and an amended plan will be required before the third year payment can be approved.
