55 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Finance the total cost incurred in relation to the recount at the RDS after the recent general election which lasted one week; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14174/97]
Because details of the various components of the cost have not yet been finalised and approved, I am not in a position at this stage to be able to advise the Deputy of the total costs involved. When the information is available, I will arrange to have it conveyed to him.
