Question:352 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the timescale for the review of Dáil Éireann constituency boundaries. [14549/97]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 340 and 352 together.
I made an order on 29 September 1997 establishing a Constituency Commission under section 5 of the Electoral Act, 1997. In accordance with the Act, the commission is obliged to present a report to the Chairman of the Dáil, not later than six months after its establishment.
