452 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the appointments made by him through his personal office since being appointed, including programme managers, advisers, special advisers, constituency personnel and all other appointments other than Civil Service appointments; the salary being paid per annum in each case; and if he will give the same information in relation to Ministers of State at his Department. No consultancy contracts have been awarded by me or the Minister of State at my Department.
This contrasts with the position which obtained during the term of office of the previous Minister, Deputy Nora Owen: the total cost of various public relations consultancies was £85,077.
