490 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will request the Garda to report on the action, if any, they are taking in response to the expressed concerns of residents (details supplied) in Dublin 8. [14510/97]
I am informed by the Garda authorities that the area in question is patrolled by mobile units from Kilmainham Garda Station. Furthermore, the area is adjacent to Rialto where there is constant Garda presence, through Operation Dóchas, and this cover extends to the adjoining streets and provides a noticeable Garda presence. I am assured by the Garda authorities that the area will continue to receive appropriate Garda attention.
