Question:493 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the progress to date on the provision of a new Garda station at Kilmoganny in County Kilkenny. [14513/97]

It is planned to build a new Basic Unit Garda Station in Kilmoganny. It is not possible to say at this time when the project might commence. However, detailed planning will proceed in due course having regard to overall priorities and the availability of finance.
