Question:

99 Mr. Farrelly asked the Taoiseach if he or Ministers of State at his Department have appointed a programme manager or a special adviser or both; if so, the salary paid to them; the terms of their contracts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15002/97]

I have appointed Mr. Gerry Hickey as programme manager and special adviser at a salary of £82,715 p.a.

In addition, Ms Katharine Bulbulia, who has been appointed as programme manager to the Tánaiste, is based in my Department. She receives a salary of £53,477 p.a.
