171 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will approve a special allocation to fund a residential place for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9 who urgently requires an appropriate placement in the Anne Sullivan Centre. [15747/97]

I understand from the Eastern Health Board that a request for funding for the placement referred to by the Deputy was recently received by them.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to examine this matter and to respond directly to the Deputy.
