Vol. 481 No. 1

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Tony Gregory

Question:

227 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will review the decision to refuse a visa to a person (details supplied) to enable her to receive medical treatment in Ireland. [15613/97]

: The visa was received in February of this year and refused on the basis of information supplied with the application. Following representations in May on behalf of the person concerned the application was reviewed but no grounds were disclosed in the representations which were regarded as warranting a change in the decision made in February. I see no reason to change the decision made in this case.
