249 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Education and Science the current status in relation to the purchase of the site by his Department for a school (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15418/97]

: The purchase of the site to which the Deputy refers is at contract stage. Within the next week, the Department will forward the signed contract together with the deposit to the Chief State Solicitor for transmission to the vendor's solicitor.
