284 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science whether his attention has been drawn to the deep concern of both the board of management and the parents' association at the lack of progress in implementing the phase two development of Castleknock community college, Dublin 15; and if he will make a statement on the matter. : The architectural planning for phase two of Castleknock community college has been initiated and the vocational education committee's design team has been requested to submit the outline sketch scheme for the proposed development. When the submission has been found to be satisfactory, the project will proceed to stage three of planning which is the developed sketch scheme.
The project will continue to be accorded a high priority in my Department and every effort will be made to ensure that the planning of the project is completed as quickly as possible with a view to inviting tenders immediately and building starting as quickly as possible.
