Vol. 481 No. 4

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Jack Wall

Question:

222 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will have arrangements made to expedite the registration of lands for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare in view of the fact that the delay is causing financial hardship. [16165/97]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there is no record of any application currently pending on this property. If the Deputy can let me have the date of lodgment, the name of the lodging party and any dealing reference number, I will have further inquiries made in the matter.

Michael Creed

Question:

223 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will expedite a dealing for a person (details supplied) in County Cork in the Land Registry Office. [16166/97]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a first registration. A query was recently raised with the lodging solicitor and the application cannot proceed until the query raised is satisfactorily discharged.
