Vol. 482 No. 3

Written Answers. - Army Pension.

Bernard Allen

Question:

105 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Defence when an application made by a person (details supplied) in County Cork for a disability pension will be decided upon. [17685/97]

This application for a disability pension has been referred to the Army Pensions Board, which is the statutory body appointed under the Army Pensions Acts to investigate and report on such applications.

When the board has completed its consideration of the case and reported to my Department, the matter will be dealt with promptly and the applicant will be informed of the outcome.
