Question:267 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance when the report on the accelerating siltation of the Cashen river, County Kerry will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18730/97]
Written Answers. - Cashen River Report.
An interim report on the hydrological-hydraulic study of the Cashen river has now been received by the Commissioners of Public Works who advise me that they are in the process of examining and analysing its recommendations.
It is not the practice to publish reports of this nature but it will be placed in the Oireachtas Library for reference by the Members as soon as the Commissioners have completed their evaluation.
