Question:358 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total value of assets forfeited to the State arising from the Proceeds of Crime Act, 1996 and the Criminal Justice Act, 1994; the number of confiscation and restraint orders made arising from recent legislation since 1994; the number of properties and assets on which freezing orders have been made; the number, if any, of financial institutions identified as failing to make reports as required by section 57 of the Act; if a file has been submitted to the Director of Public Prosecution in these cases; and the number of prosecutions initiated in this regard.
