443 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if school transport will be awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in view of the fact that the avenue up to his school is 300 yards long and is a public road. [18710/97]

I have requested my Department to initiate an immediate review of transport for the pupil in question. Following the examination of this case, my Department will inform the Deputy of the outcome.
