Question:467 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Education and Science if a school (details supplied) in County Galway will be included in a foreign languages primary school project. [18955/97]
Written Answers. - Modern Languages Project.
A circular will be sent to the chairpersons of boards of management and to principals of all primary schools within the next few weeks giving them details of the pilot project in modern languages. Schools will be asked to complete a questionnaire and to indicate if they wish to be considered for participation in the project. On receipt of the completed documentation approximately 200 schools will be selected for participation. Should the authorities of the school in question indicate in their reply to the questionnaire that they wish to be included in the project their application will be considered with all the other applications.
