59 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Taoiseach if he will indicate in respect of each county and county borough, outside the city of Dublin, the ratio of county or county borough councillors to population following the 1996 census. [18675/97]

Mitchell asked the Taoiseach if he will indicate in respect of the administrative counties of Fingal, South Dublin, and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown the population of each electoral area within the counties following the 1996 census; the number of councillors elected in these counties; and the ratio of councillor to population for each electoral area. Mitchell asked the Taoiseach if he will indicate the population of each of the electoral areas within the Dublin county borough following the 1996 census; the number of city councillors elected for each of these areas; and the ratio of councillors to population in each electoral area.
