165 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will give financial support to the Well Woman Centre in Dublin in order that it can continue to provide the helpline for women and additional health services. [19315/97]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Cowen):

I recently received correspondence from the Well Woman Centre regarding its financial position. While the funding of the Well Woman Centre is a matter for individual health boards I am having the matter examined in conjunction with the health boards concerned.
