Vol. 482 No. 8

Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Andrew Boylan

Question:

187 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the proposals, if any, he has received regarding a sewerage scheme in Stradone, County Cavan; when his Department will give approval to Cavan County Council to proceed with this scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19386/97]

A preliminary report for the Stradone sewerage scheme has been submitted to my Department. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this proposal.
