201 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the reason for the delay in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19601/97]

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Molloy):

There has been no undue delay in this case. An inspection, with a view to payment of the grant will be carried out as soon as possible.
