233 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she will give details of trips abroad accepted by her since her appointment to date in 1997; the invitations, if any, she has accepted for foreign activities for the next six months; and if she will make a statement on the matter. There was one such trip and I refer the Deputy to my answer to Parliamentary Question No. 45 of 23 October 1997. I propose to travel to Brussels on Sunday next, 23 November 1997 for a meeting of the EU Cultural Ministers on Monday, 24 November.

I have received several invitations to travel abroad in 1998, and I am considering these at present.
