331 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if Croagh Patrick in County Mayo and the surrounding areas are included in the special areas of conservation; and if not, if it will be included in the second round of designation. [21010/97]

Croagh Patrick has not been proposed for designation as a special area of conservation, and my Department has no plans at this stage to propose its designation.
