463 Mr. D. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give the current position regarding a school (details supplied) in County Clare whose board of management have applied for additional accommodation; and when they will be given permission to proceed with the building. [20987/97]
My Department's architectural staff will shortly inspect and report on the accommodation at the school to which the Deputy refers. This report will assist the Department in determining how the school's accommodation needs can be met. Permission to proceed with a project at the school must await consideration of this report. My Department will be in contact with the school management as soon as possible.
