472 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science when a special reading unit will be established in north Clondalkin, Dublin 22 in view of the fact that the nearest unit is in Tallaght or Baggot Street, Dublin 24. [21061/97]
I understand that my Department has no record of an application for the establishment of a special reading unit in the north Clondalkin area. I reassure the Deputy that, if an application is made to my Department, my officials will investigate the matter as quickly as possible.
