I am pleased to inform the Deputy that a circular has recently been sent to all primary schools giving details of the pilot project mentioned by him. Schools have been asked to complete a questionnaire and to indicate if they wish to be considered for participation in the project and to return the completed questionnaire to my Department by Friday, 19 December 1997. When the completed documentation has been received and examined, approximately 200 schools will be selected for participation in the scheme.
