61 Mr. Coveney asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if the all-island planning forum in partnership with the Sports Council for Northern Ireland has been set up in order to co-ordinate the development of sport on the island; and, if so, if it has pinpointed the areas to be addressed in this regard. The chairman of the Irish Sports Council and officials of my Department are in consultation with the Sports Council for Northern Ireland exploring a range of areas and possibilities for the development of sport on an all-island basis. I will consider the outcomes of these consultations with a view to ensuring a more cohesive and co-ordinated approach in future to sports planning and development in Ireland.
