62 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the prospects, if any, there are of securing an industrial project for a vacant factory (details supplied) in Killarney, County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22425/97]

From July 1995 to date, there have been 23 IDA-Ireland sponsored site visits to south Kerry, 21 of which included a visit to the vacant former Pretty Polly premises in Killarney. IDA Ireland is currently at the early stages of negotiation with a major overseas company who are considering locating at the above facility.
