Question:

209 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of staff recruited by his Department since taking office; the function and remuneration, including expenses, of each of these staff; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22911/97]

The following details the ministerial staff appointed directly by myself or by the two Ministers of State at the Department of Health and Children. It does not include those permanent civil servants appointed since I took office to fill vacancies arising in the normal course.
