Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give details of the number of teachers available for reallocation at primary level in each of the past five years; if he will distinguish the function to which this dividend was applied in each case in relation to a general reduction in class size, extra remedial teaching, home school liaison, teacher counselling, early start, breaking the cycle and other programmes in targeted areas of disadvantage.
