Question:

97 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Defence the breakdown of barrack services, by command and formation, distinguished as required between the PDF and reserve. [23239/97]

The valuation of barrack services by command and formation is estimated as follows: Eastern Command, £1.9 million; Southern Command, £1.9 million; Western Command, £2.2 million; Curragh Command, £2.8 million; Naval Service, £0.45 million; Air Corps, £0.54 million.

Apportionment as between the Permanent Defence Force and reserve element is not identifiable.
