75 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will make a decision on the continuation of the motorway from Dublin Airport to Lissenhall, Swords; and the reasons, if any, for the delay in making this decision. [2962/98]
The issues raised by Fingal County Council's northern motorway scheme, 1995, Airport to Balbriggan by-pass, and the associated environmental impact statement are complex and require careful consideration in the light of the written submissions and objections and the inspector's report on the public local inquiry. I will make a decision on the scheme and EIS as soon as possible.
