Vol. 486 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Michael Noonan

Question:

91 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will have arrangements made to ensure that an additional grant of £40,000 is made to the authorities of the new special school at Dooradoyle Road, Limerick, being run under the auspices of the Sisters of Charity, for equipment considered necessary by the professional staff for the education of children attending the school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2933/98]

No specific request for an additional grant of £40,000 for equipment has been received from the school to which the Deputy refers. If the school wishes to make such a request, it should be forwarded to my Department for consideration.
