Question:93 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science if a school bus route may be altered slightly for the benefit and collection of some 13 children (details supplied). [2953/98]
Written Answers. - School Transport.
The 13 pupils in question are catered for with pick-up points approximately one mile from their homes to the route of service. This level of service is well within Department guidelines and is considered to be reasonable in the context of the overall operation of the school transport scheme. I regret the present arrangement is the most that can be offered.
